Bibimbap is served as a bowl of sizzling hot rice topped with various different sautéed and seasoned vegetables, a fried egg and an additional option
of a meat topping.

Ingredient Preparation
Sauce Choose your preferred sauce among the two options. Mix all the ingredients of the option you choose and divide it into small individual sauce bowls. Beef Put the meat in a bowl and combine all the marinade ingredients- Soy sauce, Sugar, Minced garlic.
Marinate for at least 20 minutes. *marinade ingredients for the beef
Vegetables Thoroughly wash and cut the carrots, courgette and mushroom appropriately (as illustrated). Gently wash the Bean sprouts and Spinach
Cooking Bibimbap
1. Blanch the Spinach in slightly salted boiling water (30-40 seconds). Then quickly drain and rinse with cold water. 2. Carefully squeeze all the water out. Thoroughly mix with 1/2 tsp sesame oil, a pinch of salt and toasted sesame seeds.
3. Put some water in a pot. Season the water with a few pinches of salt. When the water is vigorously boiling, add the Bean sprouts and boil it for 4-5 minutes. 4. Quickly drain and rinse with cold water. Drain out all the remaining water. 5. Thoroughly mix in 1 tsp sesame oil, a pinch of salt and toasted sesame seeds 6. Add a few drops of Cooking oil to a pan and heat it up over medium high heat. Sauté the Courgette with a pinch of salt for 2-4 minutes until it is softened then move to a platter.
7. Wipe the pan with a kitchen towel and add a few drops of oil. Sauté the Carrots with a pinch of salt until cooked and move to the platter. 8. Then do the same process (steps 6-7) with the Mushrooms and Marinated beef. 10. Heat a clean pan with a few drops of oil, Crack your Eggs (one egg per serving) and cook to your preferred style. 11. Put a few drops of Sesame oil in the bottom of the Dolsot/Ddukbaegi and divide the Rice into the bowls.
12. Arrange the vegetables and beef on the rice. Position them in a circular shape next to each other. 13. Set each pot on the fire/ burner. Heat over medium high heat until you hear a crackling sound coming from the rice.
14. Place the fried egg on top and sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds. Drizzle a little sesame oil for enhanced taste. 15. Serve with your chosen sauce.
Mix together the rice, all the ingredients and the sauce to eat.
