The Ddukbaegi Joseon’s shape is alike to Korean traditional old cooking pots called Gamasot (가마솥) which are shown in the image to the left. The Joseon’s appealing feature is the lid that is made of the same material; this is a feature that Gamasot’s have too. Compared to the set series, the Ddukbaegi Joseon has a thinner glazed layer, for enhanced aesthetics.

The Ddukbaegi Joseon is popular for new married couples (since it is perfect for two people) and food creators who use the lid often for cooking and display purposes.
